Network Power Amplifier

<h2>Zycoo Network Power Amplifiers — SD Series</h2>

<p>A network power amplifier takes the place of a traditional head-end 
amplifier. The Zycoo SD series receives audio directly from the IP network 
and drives passive speakers on the existing wiring — no rack amplifier, 
no separate audio distribution, no analog source equipment.</p>

<h3>Amplifier or gateway?</h3>
<p>Both approaches bring analog speakers onto an IP system, but they solve 
different problems:</p>
<ul>
  <li><strong>Use a network amplifier</strong> when the existing amplifier 
      is failing, undersized, or absent — you're keeping the speakers and 
      the wiring, replacing the electronics</li>
  <li><strong>Use a <a href="/brands/zycoo/network-paging-gateways/">paging 
      gateway</a></strong> when the existing amplifier is sound and you 
      only need to feed it network audio</li>
</ul>

<h3>Typical applications</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Buildings where the speaker wiring is in good condition but the 
      amplifier rack has reached end of life</li>
  <li>Distributed installations where placing an amplifier per zone is 
      simpler than running long speaker cable back to a central rack</li>
  <li>Sites with no existing PA electronics — new passive speakers with 
      network amplification and no head-end at all</li>
</ul>

<h3>Specification notes</h3>
<p>Match the amplifier output rating to the total connected speaker load, 
with headroom for future additions. Confirm whether your installation is 
70V constant-voltage or low-impedance before ordering, and account for 
mains power at each amplifier location — unlike PoE endpoints, these 
require local power.</p>
