The Akuvox ACR-CID11 is a desktop USB card issuer and reader built for credential enrollment in access control, time and attendance, and visitor management systems. It is HID Technology Compatible, which means it does not just read HID credentials, it encodes HID iCLASS and HID iCLASS Seos cards directly from your workstation. It also encodes the full MIFARE DESFire and MIFARE Classic families, and reads the legacy HID Prox credentials still installed in most Canadian commercial buildings.

Plug it into a USB port, place a card on the reader, and the card code is captured. No drivers, no configuration utility, no external power supply.
